While Monie & Mo’s may be new in formation, the idea and the practice started many years ago – about 12 years to be exact. After noticing a need for food and clothes for Christmas or blankets for students in her classroom, Monie saw a need for more…more food, more clothing and more comfort for these children.

Skip forward to summer of 2018 when Mo joined the project. Ever since then, with Mo’s amazing talents for outreach and her continued enthusiasm, in less then a year the program outreach had doubled. As of today, Monie & Mo’s Food Pantry serves 8 different schools throughout San Diego

While Monie & Mo’s Food Pantry has managed to do great things and grow at a steady pace, our plans are much bigger still. We look to continue our expansion into schools all throughout San Diego county and we are currently exploring various partnerships to help us get there.
